You can try a pair of sevs for a 60g. Sevs are fast growers until 5-6 inches. At this point, growth rate slows down. As for blood parrots, pfft! I don't like them.

Ahh.. interesting... Well, hum.. Can these guys do okay with small community fish? I would want a cichlid community tank.

Unfortunately no. They'll eat anything that will fit their mouths.

They can. It is generally best to keep them with larger cichlids though as small ones are easily intimidated by their presence. Plecos make fine tankmates.
