I still have the dim lights on the tank which makes it hard to get good pix.
 
One very cool tank Steve.....thank you so much for sharing..that's half the fun in this hobby, isn't it ! :D

I'm looking forward to some pics when you get the lighting upgraded.....not doing many plants ? Is that because the fish will just pull them out...and generally just wreak havoc with them ?

Hehe....I would have a hard time not having some kind of greenery in my tanks, but hey......those fish are beautiful and really all the decoration a tank like that needs !

To be honest..these dim lights are really growing on me. It really gives a nice effect watching the fish come out from the depths of the tank.

I am thinking of putting halides on the tank...which will change the look completely. I might see how they look and then make a decision after. It will also depend on what my fish like as well. I know my datnoids prefer to be kept in a darker environment.

As for the plants....i've never really had a green thumb. The only plant I seem to be able to grow is duckweed in my pond LOL.

I wouldn't mind adding some anubias though.

Still waiting on my lighting upgrade...which will make picture taking A LOT easier.
