can I put 2 brown banded bamboo sharks in a 600 gallon tank 160x48x18 :shark: :shark: :shark:

Well, yes you certainly can put them in there my friend, but can you keep them happy? I assume that is your real question... 600 gallons is probably in the right range, but long term success depends on filtration/nutrient export and correct diet. A lighted sump with algae filter/DSB and powerful skimmer(s) would be essential IMO. Plenty of info below, your research is imperative.

Definately! A 24*72 footprint is recommended as a minimum for bamboo's so 160*48 is a slam dunk. These sharks are bottom dwellers which don't swim often and you've certainly given them sufficient room to roam. Just make sure you have sufficient filtration for a tank that big. Sharks are messy eaters so an enormous skimmer is a must as well as plenty of circulation.
