Do the colocasias go through a dormant period like the alos do? Congrats on hitting a hundred lol. Can't wait to see where you take it now.

Yes, that Colocasia does go through a 3-5 month winter dormancy, but it's not too hard to manage. I just keep the tubers right in the planter in a cool and moist spot. C. fallax is an excellent riparium plant. Have you kept many taros and other aroids?

I was just organizing some image files and found a few that I had forgotten about. This one was shot with flash.

The foliage looks different with the flash picture.

Here is another picture from a while back that shows most of the different kinds of fish in this tank.

I also shot this one with flash. I really like these fish. They get along well and make a nice display.

It was a little bit sad but the other night I took some time to take this setup apart. Here is a shot of the 65 halfway through teardown.

I am still juggling fish. There were a lot of individuals in there.

I haven't been back to this thread in a long time. I tore this layout + setup down some time ago. I do have a new tank in its place.

Here is a quick shot of the 50-gallon that I am using here now.
