well, i finally decided what im going to build for my fabrication project in ag class, im going to build a tank 72x12x18, thats a standard 55 plus 2 more foot of length, what kind of tang stock can i put in it?

something i havnt had yet

Cylindricus, Buscheri and Chalinochromis would be interesting..

i just realized something....
cylindricus, leleupi and nigriventris are pretty much all the same fish.

some sort of community would be nice, but keeping some larger tangs that cant be kept in a 4 foot would be better.

i found a guy selling E kilesa $16 ea for 2inchers, is this a decent price.

the same guy is also selling T dhonti for $5 at 1 inch.

all of the prices are actually pretty good, i think im going to order there when i decide the stocklist for this.

im tempted to buy a few of the kilesa because $16 seems like a steal. but im not sure, and is there anything i need to know about them???

any other stocking suggestions?

for the top, what about some Ophthalimotilapia, like ventralis or boops? Ctenochromis horei would be a nice mid water fish. and for the sand get a sifter like Xenotilapia. These would be interesting fish you could not keep easily in a four footer.

That price doesnt sound too bad man just would get expensive when getting a few aye..

I started with 9 kilesa dn ended up with 4. 6 jumped out of a tank with glass lids. They all managed to make it out around where my filter intakes are. I would guess I had 4f/5m from they way they acted, but I'm not sure and in the end 3 were males. I've erad many accounts that broods are male heavy, so buying a bunch is necessary to ensure you get some females.
