arent eels aggressive?

Depends on what you mean by aggressive. Will they attack fish? No. Will they eat smaller fish? Yes.

Tanganyikan eels do great in a Tanganyikan tank. They are easy going, active, and don't bother anyone. I have 1 in a 29 gallon (he's still small). There are baby endlers in there that he doesn't touch. They have really small mouths so they can't really eat anything larger than fry. I guess once full size one could eat something like shellies, but maybe just young ones.

based on what is in there, what else can i add to the stock list?

i was considering adding more rocks to the left side of the tank and getting some type of rock dweller, and adding a few shells to the left side for just a few multies.


ive actually almost considered moving all of these into my 55g and putting a pair of brichardi with some hecqui to attempt the dual colony, but i dont think i will

yea, its some THR that is starting to crust over with algae, i get my THR for $.09 - $.15 per pound, so i dont have to break the bank when i want to rock out my tank. thank god for living in the only place where you can find this crap laying on the ground!

I feel like a moron, the other day I went to daves fish. Needless to say I left there with fish. I saw one of his elipsifer eels that he sold blue, it was amazing. But anyway, so I bought a giant gold sexfaciatus for some reason, I guess he was to pretty to pass up but he's in my 55 and isn't any trouble cuz he's just with some tiger barbs.

So anyway on to the 58g, I also got a large cylindricus to be in the rocks. Well, I forgot that cylindricus are lelupi and can potentially kill multies, oops crap. Than I also bought 3 tretocanthus. Welp, I didn't realize that they weren't the sandsifter I thought they were. Those little punks are mean, I had to seperate the dominant one because he tore a fin on one of my cyps. I'm pissed now, but at least I got to see some cool fish.
