7 species bichir pile!

Have you kept the Polypterus ansorgii at all?:) Any pics? I'd love to see one again.

No, I haven't kept that one, but I had a teugelsi, which is equally brand new to the hobby :D

Ansorgii just doesn't catch my fancy. Looks like an endli with a strip of color removed horizontally.

The teugelsi I got, caught a fungal infection after I treated it for parasites it had (common in wild caught polypterus), but despite how much I fought for the fish I couldn't save it. Luckily it was still in quarantine, and the other fish I received didn't contract any secondary infections after being treated for parasites.

Here is my baby teugelsi before it died:

The one at the left? Sorry to hear about it. Both are nice fish.:)

Very nice shots!

Thanks BFK! I've got 6 of them from two different purchases. The first two I got back in January, they're about 6", the other 4 I got a couple months ago, but they're growing fast!

There's this cool asian food store close by to where I live. They have a restaurant, a couple gift shops, a boba bar, and a mini fish store inside! :D

That's where I got my RTGG for a great price at 8".
