more bad news:(

This is happening again:(

The new female GBR and the male GBR are both not eating anymore!:( Super sad:( This is what happened to my super old GBR the one that I sold after it started eating again!

:( Idk what to do this time! They have not been eating for 2 days now! Their stomachs are more flat! Well, i know they ate 1 week ago............but now they take the food into their mouths and then spit it out!

and this is ONLY Happening with my GBRS!

NOT THE GOLD RAM NOR THE BOLVIANS!

HELP!:help:

more bad news:(

i found my neon blue gourami missing today and after 30 min saw it stuck in the DW(the small piece in the right) its scraped ALL OVER AND CLAMPED FINS:( I pulled it out as quickly and safely as I could using a bit of algae liquid stuff(i rub my fingers all over my algae covered glass and it becomes more slippery(my fingers) then i grabbed its tail and rear area with 2 fingers and wiht my other hand i manuevered its head out of the tiny crack and moved it back.......it swam free but not really can't swim...MISSING FINS:(

I put it into a 2 Gallon IN-TANK BREEDING NET:( Its eating, but can't swim:(

i added stress zyme:(

very bad day 2day!:( sucks:(

I think I jinxed you... for the GBRs, perhaps using garlic could help? I hear it gets fish to eat... but IDK for sure.

k, that is what i thought u did:( but not ur fault, well i do believe in jxing so i kind of do blame u;)

anyways, could it be worms? although the rest of my fish are fine.......

i think im going to order angelsplus deworming flake?

it says for ornamental fisn only? idk what that means? does it mean not for consumption? or for rare/delicate fish only? i have schoolers?

Ornamental means don't use it on fish you're planning to eat. ;) what is your Ph and water parameters? It sounds like you have a classic case of GBR syndrome. They're so so so sensitive, it's near impossible to find any reliable stock. The stop eating and die symptoms are classic... It happens to nearly every GBR owner at some point... It doesn't matter wether they're new or experienced. My only advice is to try and get them eating and try and get the ph and everything in their ideal range. If they don't make it... I'd stick with hardier bolivian and gold ram's and saveyoursekf money and sadness. As for the gourami, get some melafix in that QT ASAP! Also some stress coat if you have it...

yeah:) thats what i thought:D

I hope its not that;) The male has never stopped eating until I added the female.

And the gourami isn't in GT bc the QT has broken heater which is coming in(replacement) tomorrow or thursday............I dumped stress coat already..............i have melafix, but can't dose now as its in a net breeder in the main tank...........i shall see;)

i think I will just buy GBRs online from now on........:( Or not at all...................suckls:(

pH is ideal.........at 6.7-6.9.........6.8 when last tested it...........4 months ago

temp. is always 84+............great aeration and flow............etc. nothing wrong with parms..........:(

just did, nope, pH is still fine.........well, I just sold my gold ram today for $15.......quite a nice price;) LFS sells for $11, well this one was long fin;)

I don't know about the GBRs, they eat, but i don't see anything:( Well, I will just see what happens and if they die, they die and im done with them:( I think I just can't find good stock, this has happened 4 times now(2 times b4 and if this continues 2 more times:()

the 1st 2 times i had them in a 20G over 2 years ago, they did fine for 4 months after purchase(a pair) and they just abruptly died, 1st one in a week, and the 2nd one later, I had other fish in the tank and no issues at all! So idk what happened, i guess the same thing:(

Nope:) it was a gorgeous extreme(2" of tail + 2" body....!) long fin MALE gold ram;) I think its dad had the bull head gene(idk what its called, but i had 3 males and all adlts, this is only one which had a large big blunt head;) Bull head super bright orange;)

doesn't ur LFS sell golds?x
