Delayed cuz my mom took the camera, and she will be getting home really late, and I am so tired. I got up at like 6am cuz I had a tennis match, then I came home, relaxed, went for another tennis match(lost:(), and then went for tennis practice. I just got home an hour ago, and just finished dinner. I will have pics soon:D

The discus are looking really dark since my substrate is dark, so I am moving them to a barebottom 55G with dividers once I buy it($30). I am going to be using that 55G as a angelfish breeding/growout tank, ram breeding tank, and discus tank. I am setting up 4 10Gs as shrimp breeding tanks. RCS, yellows, and tigers. I still need to buy some orange ones.

My discus have these white stringy lines all over them. I did a 50% WC yesterday, and they all seem to be breathing at the surface, even though an aerator is running on full. Please Help. I have pics. Only 1 of them doesn't have them. It kind of looks like they were hiding in my hard/sharpish coral kind of rock which has a rough surface, and they scratched themselves??? Please Help. I can go to a LFS today, but I need to know what meds to get!!!

My best guess is that their slime coat is deteriorating and kind of clumping into lines. Your discus definitely look very stressed, they're very dark and their fins look clamped. I've had baby angelfish appear this way when placed in a community tank. I figured other fish were stressing them out and quarantined them. Some died shortly after developing those white lines, others made it. If you haven't tested your water params recently, i'd suggest you do it ASAP. Please recap your stock for the 72. There are too many pages of scattered info for me to look back through this thread.

also, are you planning on using dividers in your shrimp tanks still? if so, i would advise that you use solid dividers
with absolutely no pores/holes. baby shrimp are as small as the point of a sharpened pencil and could float through a porous divider, which would lead to your neocaridina colonies mixing and creating wild (brown) type neo shrimp.
 
Actually, there are no dividers in my shrimp tanks. I have 1 tank with yellows and tigers, and a different tank with RCS and RCS. i know that they will mix, so I made them different.

Co2 system was canceled for order as some parts were out of stock, but it is arriving within 2 weeks:)
Stocking change, I have only 2 angels left, which are sold, and being shipping to NY next week. There are 4 discus, as one died, but the remaining have regained their colors, and are looking great. I have a hi fin blue cobalt discus which I bid on aquabid 2 weeks ago coming in soon;)
Hardly any plants left in tank except java fern.

FINALLY
We got a new house, it is gigantic! 5 Bed room House with 3 car garage so guess what! Fishroom!!! I get 1/4 of the garage(the walls!) for fish tanks. So, I am starting it out with 3 55Gs, 2 10Gs, and 1 20G!!!!!!!!!!!!
So excited, we move in after the 30 day waiting period thing;)

I am moving the breeding tanks first, and once all the new furniture, and stuff gets in, the 72G. OMG, that is going to be a PITA, and a whole day operation.
