72g Bowfront Mbuna Tank

Alright Pitt I have tried so many times to get pictures of the babies Acei but they are SO active! Plus every time I come near the tank they are all at the top begging for food so they are behind the trim & I can't see em. :) So I did the best I could.

Please excuse the algae! (diatoms maybe even)

I didn't have a great picture night but I'll share anyways!
Here are my biggest babies, 4mo Albino Socolofi & 3mo OB Red Zebras, plus 4 of the large acei fry. I will upload a video in a little while.

And the newest babies! For sure the little blue striped ones are mainganos BUT the yellow & white ones I am unsure of. Help me out here! All the babies came from 1 holding yellow lab that was separated from the main tank at like 19 days & was allowed to spit naturally (and she was a GREAT mother, even taking in stray mainganos that snuck past the divider) but some babies are very yellow and others are very white (with dark eyes, not albinos). Could they be hybrids or possibly do female yellow lab fry take (a lot) longer to color up? As a refresher I have albino socolofi, yellow labs, OB red zebras, mainganos (cyanerhabdos) & acei in the main tank.

Wow my tanks all look so dirty! :jaw-dropping: I'll upload some videos soon but youtube KILLED the already poor quality, sorry.

Hi!
Well, I think they are just paler yellow labs. There are yellow labs not so yellow. As a matter of fact, I have 4 adult labs: 3 of them are bright yellow and the other one is pale yellow; by the way, I think this last one is a female. Congrats, all your fry are looking great!!!

Nice looking fry sins. Love the maingano babies. They were one of my original stocking choices, but I couldn't find them around here, or from where I eventually mail ordered. I've got 2 batches of Rusty fry growing out myself right now.

Thanks guys! I think I am going to separate the pale ones out to see how they mature.

Here are some videos.

Thanks, yea I might have some extra Acei in about oh 6 months or so. :D Growing everyone out to a sexable size takes a VERY long time & a lot of space! A lot of my 3-4mo fry have eggs spot already though.
