Thanks so much everyone for the nice comments! Yeah I agree it was ugly before, I hope it only gets better. I'll post some more pics of the wood, plants and fish close up maybe tomorrow.

Thanks for the comments about Mitzie the aquarium cat. She is a permanent fixture there, that's right where the ballast is for that light, nice and warm. lol

tank looks nice , and yes customdrums plants are the VERY best to buy ! you wont find more for yoru money . Your tank is the same size as mine, and I am doing a re-scape myself, i am waiting on some new bulbs for mine, the plants will grow alot better . I will watch your tank , looks good so far .
