75 gallon Planted Office Tank Journal

Ms Krib & the last rainbow are looking very nice! Sounds like you're getting the hang of the lights & vacuuming thing, I have no idea on the CO2 but it's really coming together! All part of the learning curve for each tank set-up. Keep up the good work!

Thanks for the encouragement. Keep checking back this thing is either going to look nice one day or I'm going to have a real big bonfire. :D

Geekpryde your tank looks amazing! I have to say this thread is one of the first ones that I saw when I joinced ac. You have inspired me a lot on my planted aquarium.

I think turning all lights back on was a good decisions, at least for now. Plants are looking better. I see some more reds. My new EI dosing regime with 50% less Fe than before and 66% less GH booster was also a good idea. Wont be able to tell for sure for another few weeks. Since my co2 injection is inline with filter, a second filter was an absolute must, hope this info helps some others out.

Even though I lost a few snails and a few shrimp, I still have only lost 2 fish to date. That is pretty good I think.

I am a little sad about not having anything more to buy for this tank....

That's why some of us have several tanks :D There's always trimming & rescaping, seeing a cool new plant to try. But yeah, pretty much done can be a bit of a letdown. No more researching, shopping, consulting, ordering, figuring it all out. You're getting to the sit back & find nitpicky stuff that could be better, maintenance, watching the grass grow LOL. Oh right, it's at the office...back to work :raspberry:

Yup, back to work. That's why my posts have slowed. I have to catch up on all the work I skipped during the month it took me to set this thing up. :D

Hey Geek, things are looking really great. Keep up the good work.

Where'd you get your info about GH? That's something that I need to read into a bit more as I'm not currently monitoring it and I'm sure I need to be.

Thanks!
