I've got some pictures for those of you that are following. I built my stand this afternoon. When we bought our new house, there were a ton of 2x4's, 4x4's, 6x1's, and various plywood that was left behind, so I built this stand for the price of a box of 3" wood screws (although I had already purchased them for a previous project). So here's some pics of the stand and tank. I'll be running to Menards in the next few days for some birch plywood to finish it, as well as some trim and a couple doors.
Stand dimensions:
48 3/8" wide, 18 3/8" deep, 30" tall
(Sorry some of the pics came out a bit yellow in color. Flash wasn't on.)
Now I'm trying to either find a 30L for a sump or looking into building my own. While I'm at Menards I think I'll also pick up my plumbing supplies and a hole saw for drilling glass. Until then!
Any comments/questions/concerns welcome!
Thanks!
Brandon
