75gallon tank dimensions?

Hi! I was wondering what are the exact dimensions of a 75 gallon tank. Is it 48 x 18 or 48 1/2 x 18 1/2? The reason is I bought this stand from a guy and it is 48 1/2 x 18, closed on the front and side by some wood but open on the back. So if it is 18 1/2 there would be half an inch that would come out from the stand. Would that be significant at all? Thanks!!!

I only have Perfecto tanks these days so I can't speak for the other brands. A 75 gal Perfecto tank is 18 5/16 front to back. That is the measurment on the trim. The glass is exactly 18". In my opinion, you should be fine

Aqueon's are 48.5x18.5 (dimensions of the frame).

So, I bought the tank and there is a slight border that does come out of the stands border, but there is still part of the underneath of the frame that is located in the stand.

My marienland is 48 5/16" X 18 5/16".
Sound like the frame is supported where the glass is, you should be fine.
