Boy, you go away for a week and look what you miss. Like Kveets said "Excellent! I don't check DIY too often, glad I did. " I'm glad I saw this title in 'who's online'

How did you get the tank so clear so soon after planting? Did you diatom filter the tank after planting?

I did run the Vortex XL for awhile. The tank is still crystal clear - even from side to side (6 feet..)...............
I must also credit the extra Rena Filstar xP-3!
I'll try and keep some updated pics going from time to time, but I don't want to stress out the bandwidth here.. LOL
Oh yeah, I got the new Custom SeaLife hood. 4 X 96 watts at 8800K with 6 MoonLites built-in!! It looks better than I thought.. Can't take a pic with just the MoonLites going. Need a better cam..
