If you have a glass top on your aquarium, have you considered changing to egg crate. That's what I use to stop my jumpers
I use an acrylic top, but i have thought about switching to egg crate, if u face the egg crate the wrong way is it bad for light? I think i read this somewhere, if so is there a way to tell which way faces down?
I have not done anything and it is staying at 79 so idk if i should still put the fan on before i leave for Jamacia tomorow just in case.
Just to help you out- I can go to Jamaica instead of you... that way you can stay behind and watch your fish!
Ok, my tank is back up to 85° today and it was only 75° out. If i use a fan should i plug it in to my daytime timers or should i leave it on all day. My house has central ac so hopfuly in the summer my parents turn it on and it helps keep it cool, so i am going to hold off an the chiller right now.

I am big into getting the most current, but considering it is $200 more than the ACIII I don't know what you really get for the money. I really like Neptune Systems products and their service can't be beat, but just don't know anything about the new controller. What about the AC III Pro are you focused on - what feature drives you to the III Pro?
Well i just looked at the units better and i could easly go with the AC3 i dont think i need the AC3 Pro. I want to use the unit to control my ph, temp(heaters and maybe a chiller), top off, lights, and maybe moon cycle. Should i worry about ORP? And i read about someone how hooked up a water alarm that if it was set of the AC3 would shut off some pumps and prevent a flood, dose anyone know how i could do this.
