9 watt or 13 watt.

So I bought a 9 watt philips CFL light bulb for 7.36 just about a week ago. I was wondering if a 13 watt would do much better for my low light 10 gallon.
The 13 watt is the same price.

Id actually go for a 20W. im using one over my 5.5 with no co2, ferts, or anything and its doing great.

Does your hood support two bulbs? A couple of 9 watts would be better. I use two 13 watt bulbs in my planted 10g.

Same here, I use 2 13 watts in my planted 10. I was doing low light but got bored with the plant choices so I upgraded.

I was going to ask the same thing...I would go with 2 x 13w if possible.
