90 gallon African Tank pics

Yep i am a strict user of eggcrate... goes in all my tanks except my fry ones where there are very few rocks. I even double-layerd the eggcrate in that tank where the main piles are. 
The water in that pic isnt very clear yet because it was only a few days after it was set up. The water is very clear now.... I use a Rena Filstar XP3 which is keeping the water very clear. I reccommend adding some filter floss to your filter, which is very fine, and will pick up small particles. Also a powerhead with Quickfilter attatchment works well also.
The lighting is a 45watt AquaGlo bulb.... throws a very blue light. I am going to add another 25watts or so using a smaller strip at the back for the plants, but keeping the same AquaGlo bulb. Anubias are lowlight but the val will probebly need a bit more light.
