90 gallon reef setup, progress

^^^ Thanks sploke... But, the rocks aren't leaning on the side. Looks like they are, but I made sure to leave enough space for the mag float to move across. :)

I'll be moving the rocks around thoguh, in a few weeks. . .
 
Im supremly jelous of this set up, one of the best looking tank / stand combos i have ever seen. hell id do a whole kitchen in those cabinets
 
Well here she is, all setup and ready to go.

So far, in the tank I got

1- foxface
1- 6 line wrasse
1- yellow wrasse
1- scooter blenny

20- blue legged hermits
10- zebra turbo snails
...

This hobby's too freaken expensive!!

Awesome cheech! So I assume the wiring went fine with the lights, etc? Nice rock stacking.
 
Yeah I had the same problem with mine. I put two 1.5" PC fans in each end, but they were loud, so I just ended up using a single 4" fan on the top, blowing straight up so it sucks most of the heat right out. I found a multi-voltage wall adapter, it can be used to power anything from like 1.5V to 14V in 1.5V increments I think...or something along those lines. I was able to adjust the fan to get good cooling with minimum noise, I ended up setting it at about 6V or so. You can hear it a bit, but its not bad.

now there's an idea!!

I have 2 dc fans in there right now, and they are annoyingly loud. the hole up top soudns great! I might give it a shot!
 
Looks great Cheech. Loving the stand. But whats with the piece of wood between the tank and stand?

Sounds like you have a ton of pods growing. I wish I did! I cant get any to grow for some reason. Not sure why.
