Heyas!! Just wanted to let you guys know that I moved to Alberta...I had to sell all of my tanks and my fish in New Brunswick before I moved...which was REALLY SAD!
Now I am here in Alberta....I turned 23 on Sunday, Nov. 5th... :bday: so my boyfriend and I bought a 90 gallon fish tank! it's so awesome! If you want to see a few pics.... I have added some here:

I also have a "talking" catfish....aka Raphael Catfish...but I cant see him ever to get any pics of him...I'm sure that he will become more comfortable and come out and about more.....maybe I'll catch him one of these nights out and about hehe

yeah it's really hard to get good pics of my tinfoils because they are soooo fast...I have a few good ones of the blood parrots and the pleco....etc
tell me what you think!!
THANKS guys!!!!!!!!!

ps...if you have any ideas for decorating my tank...please let me know...i have yet to add a few more things to the tank....I have some more drift wood and rocks...I just cant decide how I want it to look....I know I need some more hihding spots for sure...

Yeah I have a betta too.....forgot to add that one hehe :)

I like your tank, but I think those barbs will outgrow your aquarium eventually...the pleco most likely will, too. not trying to be an nag, just a friendly heads up.

yeah I knew that the pleco would out grow the tank.....i heard that a 250 gallon is the minimum for them...BUT I have read info on the tinfoils and I believe it states that the 90 gallon tank is the minimum size for them...and that's what I have...so hopefully they will be fine....I think they only grow to be about 14 inches though...so that might be alright...my tank wont be overstocked or anything.... :cool2:
all is good.....i did have 2 tinfoils in a 29 gallon tank....they seemed to be ok...they were a bit smaller than the 2 that I have now though....
what do you think?

well, techincally you have room for 2 tinfoils, but the other fish tanke up that room. keep in mind that your raphael and clown loach will get about 12" as adults. they can also be somewhat aggressive as the age, and should be kept in large schools.

so are you suggesting that I should get another catfish and another loach?

i'm saying that once your barbs get about 8" you should return them, and return the pleco once it reaches 12". you don't need to get more cats, but more loaches would be good if you're getting a biggger tank in the future.

i'm sorry lol I still think that the tinfoils are fine in this tank....I think you are right about my pleco though....we do intend on getting a much larger tank...we are hoping to go for either a 150 or 200 gallon tank next....depends on what kind of deals we come across...these larger tanks are very expensive....we came across a very good deal for the 90 gallon that we have now....what is your opinion on having blood parrots as pets? are you against having them as pets because of where they come from?

no, BPs are fine by me as long as they aren't dyed. I reccomend getting 2-3 more clowns, then. heck, if you get that big tank soon enough, you can keep all the fish you have in there no problem, or at least the tinfoils, loaches, and pleco.

yeah it would be awesome if I could get a much larger tank eh....I'm going to keep my ears and eyes opened for great deals...the reason I got this tank....this couple was going through a divorce and they were just selling everything off...they tried to sell us a tv too...but we are happy with the one that we have lol
