Don't if you can or can't run a sump but about a week ago i upgraded to coralife super skimmer and now i'm looking into setting up a sump.manely because the pump and bubble box is a major eye soar plus this way i can get more volume in my tank.don't know if this will help any but to put in your tank you'll be looking at (roughly)8"x4" of gray plastic and that's on the 65 gallon model
