A better way to cool a terrarium

My lab consist of a massive wire frame shelf with hundreds of baby food jars filled with young nepenthes seedlings. It's crude but it works.
 
It's a great way to make money if you know what you're doing. If you have some rare CP's it's a small gold mine.
 
Where do you get the medium at or make it? I have been really interested in it. I tried some VFT seed awhile ago, they molded over, guess I didn't sanitize it to well...
 
Most cloning is done from seeds, after then grow and get older they're usually divided up to other pieces to make more plants. It's pretty fun.
 
It's best to grow them from seed first in vitro and then divide the seedlings tissue to make more plants. It's a great way to get rare breeds.
 
Sounds good, but where or how do you make the medium that the plants go in?
 
Just watched the 3 vids that he made and it looks pretty basic. Whoever the sterilization will probably kill me lol
