I also remember when nobody had a mobile (cell) phone. Bizarrely, people would arrange to meet at a certain time and place...and then they would turn up ! At that time and Place !!!!.

Bizarrely, people would arrange to meet at a certain time and place...and then they would turn up ! At that time and Place !!!!.

This amuses me, my son asked me how in the world he was supposed to meet up with us after his boy scout meeting if he didn't have a cell phone with him. My response was to look at his watch and walk outside at the correct time.

I remember when kids played games outside instead on a game system inside.
