I remember that! Very clear memory of standing in the cab of my grandparents pickup truck so i could see out the from window.

I too remember celebrities not trying to be politicos and acting like jack@%$, but then again that was before the internet and the 200 channels on cable, plenty of entertainers made it into politics though, Reagan, that wrestler in Minn. so mabe it was still happening....
