Still looks great! I wish I had that kind of luck with my plants. Do you use anything special substrate/fert wise?

thanks. i don't use any ferts. lighting is 2x 12watt compact florescent bulbs from the dollar store. i leave the light on way too long most days on this tank, maybe 12 hours or more, then other days i forget to turn it on so it only gets a couple hours. everything grows really well in there for some reason. subtrate is river gravel.

i had to look for the name. i think it's Najas guadalupensis. what i pulled out of there last month is now enough to fill my entire 20g breeding tank.
they sure do! and they do a good job looking after them for me too.
