A Female's Perogative?

I have 3 marble angelfish together. 2 Males and 1 female (have seen omniposters). The female and one male have spawned 3 times (to no avail - eaten them). Now the female seems to be switching her preferences, sometimes she hangs out with the odd man out. The males are sparring most of the time. Is it normal for the female to change her partner?? Should I wait to separate the extra or move him now? Thanks

I would, just in case it gets violent.

I'd separate the male that hasn't been breeding. It's risky keeping a breeding pair with an odd man out.

I was thinking that, but when she started hanging with him, I wasn't sure. Out he goes to the 65 with tomorrows WC.
