Extinct? Since when?
That reminds me of a post card I found a while ago, a large turtle with a smaller turtle on top of it, with a smaller turtle on top of it, with a smaller turtle on top of it, etc. In the end, it was a stack of about 6-7 turtles. 
Yah VF thats the wild one that just kind of showed up on the farm one day. The baby is maybe 1.75" SCL.

Nice shots, Sploke. That is a massive-looking paint; I thought it was a cooter at first glance!
A quick way to tell greens from bulls is to look at the dorsolateral ridge (sorry if you already knew this, just thought I'd share):
Green frog- ridge goes to sacral hump:
Bullfrog- ridge ends behind ear:
All other ranids in your area (like this pickerel frog)- ridge extends nearly to groin:

Thannks Notop, yeah I looked up the differences after I posted, I'll have to see if I can get a better look. The frogs are pretty fearless, they don't really move until you're within a few inches of touching them. The EPT is pretty big...I did have a northern redbelly a while back that was about twice her size. Looked like someone was dropping a bowling ball into the water when she dove off the basking area.
