will hornwort ever grow roots? right now i have all my plants held down with rubberbands on a couple of plastic rulers that are weighted with those zinc plant weights. the hornwort and the cambomba(sp?) don't seem to be growing any roots. eventually i want to cut the rubberbands and pull the rulers out once the plants are rooted down.
also, i saw a plant at the LFS the other day that looked very neat, but it didn't look like an aquatic plant. i'm afraid that it was in a submerged form (or whichever it is where its still got its above-water leaves) they were kind of fan shaped, almost like ginko tree leaves only rounder on long stems.
