V Vitaliy AC Members Dec 17, 2004 149 0 0 Nov 23, 2005 #2 Blue Jack Dempsey’s are Cichlids, I would say a tank around 45-55 gallon will be enough. I never had much success putting Jack Dempsey’s with other more aggressive Cichlids so I would go with Severums as tank mates.
