A few stocking questions

Hi all,

I've just finished aquascaping my 30g and am cycling now. I have a few more stocking questions. Answers to any of these would be much appreciated. I've done my research but I'd still like your opinions and experiences as most of the info conflicts a bit here and there.

For reference:

30g, with an AC110 filter.

This tank currently has 6 espei rasboras and IS cycling.

Stocking option #1

9 rasboras (3 more to go with current )
9 cardinal tetras
6 juleii corydoras
2 Pearl gouramis (3 if possible)

Stocking option #2

9 rasboras
6 cardinal tetras
6 juleii cory's
2 GBR's
5 Amano shrimp

Stocking option #3

9 rasboras
6 neon tetras
6 cory's
3 bosemani rainbows - once real plants get added

Thoughts? Comments? Criticisms?

Wow... too many choices. lol

I'm not an expert by any means, but I personally wouldn't go for a school of rasboras & tetras in a 30 since they occupy the same space in the tank. Maybe Hatchets instead?

Option #1- If you get any Gouramis in there, I'd go Dwarf with a 1M/2F ratio.

Option #2- I'm not sure about GBRs and shrimp, they may be treats.

Option #3- Probably my favorite if the Neons were substituted with 4 or so hatchets.

I have to agree with HN - I just got some hatchets and they are awesome. So different and fun to watch. And I also got 2 rainbows - still a little drab but gaining confidence daily.

Hmmm, hatchets.....I'll give them a look. I'm too new to know exactly what they are.
