Yeah mine was super skinny too when I had it in a community tank. Its been in a species tank for over year now - originally it was just going to be until I could fatten it up, but then my puffer turned evil so I have to wait until I can separate it before returning the goby to the main tank. Hopefully target feeding it from there will do the trick.
