well im offiicially hooked on reef keeping i got a 14g bio cube for christmas plus sbout $200 in gift cards to my lfs so i set it up on the 26th and heres what it looks like so far i got 15lbs of hatian live rock but was only able to fit about 12lbs in there plus 20lbs of bimini pink sand im going with a carribian theme all carrabian fish and corals here are some pics so far

is it the JBJ MH ligthing? or just the normal 24watt?
 
havent really researched any fish yet but ive got time even though i hava fully cured live rock with no die off and live sand i think the tank is gonna take a while to cycle

W/ LR, not necessarily. It may even be ready to handle live stock now.

Check the water for pH, NH3, No2 today and another one couple of days later. If both reading revelas proper readings (0 on NH3/NO2), should add (1) small fish to keep the LR going.. after adding fish, Test every other days for NH3/NO2. With (1) one small fish in FOWLR, should not encounter any problems.

I used to add fish on the same day I add my own LR which were cured in my curing vats in order to keep bioactivities going in/on LR

Since only 12 G, should think hard as to what you want to keep.
