A GRIP of Shrimp!

So awhile back I started a 10gl Cherry Shrimp tank. For awhile there it didnt look like they were really breeding at all...

Well now there are seriously too many to even count!! I see tiny babies all the time now and at least 2-3 pregnant ones cruising around... is there any way they could get so many as to outgrow the 10 gallon?? lol

Yes. They could easily outgrow it.

what about a 30 gallon? all i have is cherry shrimp and a clown pleco, so its pretty much a shrimp farm...

Shrimp will outgrow any tank, given some time. So get baggies and shipping supplies ready. You'll have to start thinning them out soon!

Unless you decide to get a fish that will eat them or a bigger tank, of course .

Once cherry shrimp get comfortable in a tank there is no stopping the love fest that follows. I got some from jinkz a while back...thought that they didn't make it in their new home, oops...there they are, now I have tons. Time to upgrade my 55g!
