a heads up

Time to me does exist in the fact that it is something our entire species adheres to and lives by, cosmically though I would have to say no time doesn't exist. Time is a notion made by man in order to measure length (in essence), it is also a perception (time flies when you are having fun). Speaking cosmically time to me should be known as cycles. I do believe that cycles exist both here on the planet and cosmically (not speaking necessarily of seasons). I don't understand how this has anything to do with coronal mass ejections however?

petluvr, agree with you.. our mind has its own *clock*, which differs by what *time* man has created physically, our mental cycle/clock is what WE rely on, but our clock we created, we just well adapted to and live off of, now say you are going to another planet thats 20 light years away, and you created a rocket that can go over the speed of light, so you get there in less then a year, maybe instantanisly, but to earth/humans here and animals, it will be 20 years... but would only feel like less then a year if not instantanisly to us in the rockets...

What are the odds that lbf is really Stephen Hawking playing an elaborate practical joke on an obscure corner of the interwebs?

Then I've wasted a lot of time...probably still have...

We can't discuss politics but we can post this garble of trash?

If we make the political talk funny or full of lies can we talk it then?

you don't even understand the concept of light speed and time....

If a place is 20 light years away and you go the speed of light it takes you 20 yrs to get there, its still 20 yrs to the people of earth. You'd need to go 20 times the speed of light to make it in 1 year and it would still only be 1 yr to the people of earth.

You are confusing speed and cryogenics.....Now if you built a ship that went the sped of light and took 20 years to get there but got put to sleep for the entire trip you wouldn't age but eveytone on earth would.
