ok,i want 1 or 2 live plants in each of my 3 tanks, more for the fish than for the looks,1 is cold water goldie tank, 2 are warm tropical freshwater tanks, im at the moment trying out 1 type of plant in each of the 3 tanks,im hoping they will all be ok even though they are in warm water in 2 of the tanks,i dont know what the plant is called, but it doesnt have roots or need to be planted it just gets wedged under things in the tank to hold it down :headshake2: i know i sound dumb but i was told the name and cant think of it now, anyway,i have the normal lights that come with the tanks, nothing special, and i have no doubt its way too low for the plants to really thrive, but i dont have the money to change them,so i thought i would just give it go with a couple of cheap plants. so far they seem to be doing well, theyve only been in there for a few days but still look good, and the fish seem to love them. how will i know if they start to die off, will they go brown or anything?
i have no idea what im doing, any help appreaciated :help:
