I've posted about this once before but I need a little more help on trying to find good tank mates for 1 Rainbow Shark and 5 Tiger Barbs i'm going to be putting in a 50 gallon. Thanks:cool:

My tiger barbs get along well with Parrots and Balas (although I wouldnt recommend the Balas) in a 45G. I've got two parrots in there with plenty of rock formations, (they like to hide.)

Trying too find good tank mates for a Rainbow Shark is becoming a pain in the ***! maybe this will work 1 pain in the *** Rainbow Shark,5 Tiger Barbs and 4 Lohachata Botia Loachs. Would this work?

You won't see the botias...I literally thought one was dead, I hadn't seen him for a year. He appeared under the UGF then...I was only a few years old at the time though.

The rainbow sharks aren't that bad. I've never had one, but from what I've seen at work and heard they aren't that agressive.

well I got a 4-lined cat,Convict,2 Crappies and and Pleco with my Rainbow Shark

Maybe two female convicts? A couple female paradise fish might also work out.

Convicts are fish with a lot of anger. You would want to be careful what else you put with them.

My convicts are the only fish that bite me.

Convicts are fish with a lot of anger. You would want to be careful what else you put with them. Some people who have used them as feeders report the convicts actually cornering the hunter before they're swallowed whole. They're fighters, and very territorial - especially when they're breeding, (which they probably will be if you add a male and a female.)

My convicts are the only fish that bite me.
