A Matter of Perspective

Actually it proves one thing Travis. You have too much free time.

I pride myself on working every minute into something worth doing, and I think this stuff up when I eat, listen to music, work (I think a lot at work, keeps me from being bored), so I don't need free time, just time without the need to work my brian. Physical labor is a must for me to think about stuff for long periods of time. In fact.... when thinking up new stories and ideas for various things I write, I often pace, if I don't have something else to do.

By that standard the world didn't exist until you were born. I assure you it did.

If you really think about it though, there is no way to prove the truth in that statement. If the whole world was imagined into existence when a person was born, then the entire world would basically be biased towards that perspective. As a result, the only way to prove its existence would be to find outside evidence. For all you know, the entire universe can simply be a delusion that you are perceiving and not really exist.

In which case, that really says something about the individual's mental state...

As a matter of perspective, it seems to me that when at work one should occupy his mind with the task at hand.

Physical labor for instance can be wrought with hazards if you are not focused on what you are doing.
