I'm looking for sugestions on a mean bottom feeder, one that will fight back. My ornate bicher hates bottom feeders (catfish).

You might try a Green Tiger Loach. Shortly after introducing a 3" specimen to my 72 gallon tank, all of the other loaches became very skiddish. All of the other fish, Blood Parrots, RTBS, various tetras, steered clear of him until I had to get rid of it. My poor Clown loaches had torn up tails and didn't seem too happy. The Tiger Loach grew to about 5" in the short time I had it and I really liked the colouring of it. Too bad it didn't like the other loaches, but it might do well as a lone loach.
Would a spotted ralphieal(sp) work, not really mean but pretty armored. However I don't have any experience w/ bicher's so this may just be a bad idea.
I'll keep my eyes open for that green loach. I had thought about the rapheal's, they just seem skittish to me. Then again the armour might work. He's taken out pictus cats 5" to 6" same size as him, doesn't want to eat them just kills em.
