A Microfiber Towel Review

Thank you very much H20gal.

Glad that there are some good people here :)
In my experience, AC is a largely peaceful and helpful community. Hope you'll stick around and not let this rather wretched initial experience keep you away from a wonderful group of people and a great resource!

You're right, Roscoe. I take responsibility for derailing the microfiber train. I just can't stand general rudeness-- doesn't make us look good to new members.

I'll put it back on the track: I agree with Petluvr-- underwear great for tank cleaning. Dollar store microfiber, also very effective. (How was that?)

Way ahead of you.

I use microfiber towels from Microfiberhome(www.microfiberhome.com) to clean the outside my fish tanks. my favorite towel to use is their double density microfiber towel.

I like these towels because I can use them over and over again, so they help save me money. Also, they eliminate paper towel waste.
I can use the towels wet or dry, depending on which type of cleaning I'm doing. Use them dry to wipe off dust, or use them wet to clean off stains. They won't leave any lint on my two aquariums, which is great because it means no extra cleaning for me! :)

Anyways, I recommend the microfiber towels to anyone who is tired of dirty aquariums, or anyone who wants to get rid of paper towel waste.

Been using microfiber and window cleaner for years, well, 2 or 3 anyway. The window cleaner in the pressurized cans is my absolute favorite.

Seems to even work better on my computer monitor. If you are selling either, drop me a pm. LOL By the way, NEVER spray the monitor, only the rag, then wipe it, same with the tanks.

Haven't tried the microfiber yet. I'm still using pieces of a cotton sheet that got so worn and thin I could practically see through it. Tore it into scads of squares for use on the good stuff. Computer screen, piano, fish tank ... :)

Really, no underwear?

Tis a shame really. You have heard about the story of the ATV, the neighbor, and Canada, well, haven't you? :-) ROFLOL

Anyway, just kidding. Rags are great. Soft cotton is the best, microfiber even better!

Given that there's a sticky saying "We want your reviews" in this forum, and links to product are suggested, I think it's an easy mistake. The actual product review forum isn't obvious or easy to find, imo. It doesn't get this many reads in a month.

Microfiber is great for acrylic tanks(greatly reduces scratches/hazing), i wouldnt use anything else. The newspaper is not IMO a very good towel to use simply because when it gets wet you get ink all over your hands and i imagine on your tanks as well. Underware?:jaw:LMAO.......
