A new exotic pet

Ok after a bit of research it turns out that its extremely hard to get lisense for spiders in Cape Town.
Chickens are a bit to boring.
And lastly people thanks for all the ideas but please understand that i may live in africa but its not like im chasing lions out of my backgarden and fighing head hunting trides dayly so in other words i can get all these huge pets and you americans have to work out that the rest of the world is not poor and uncivilised.

I know that. Still, if you go to Wilderness you can find a spider there and I promise you, you won't need a licence. They are a dime a dozen! I think their true name is a Golden Tarantula. When one is jumping up your arm, all you can do is scream however.

The number of times that people say that we can't be from Africa because we aren't black is too many to count. I have also had asked if I was afraid of lions in my yard, if we lived in houses, and if we wore clothes. They are always terribly disappointed when I tell them the truth.

an exotic dog, a papillon for example (papillons are very small though).
if you have lots of time and expertice a saluki, the oldest dog breed in the world, a sight hound from egypt.

I like spider but i am no master on spider finding what if i pick up one that has venom in it.

Get a sugar glider. not really an outdoor pet, but they don't seem too difficult and not a lot of people have them.

Just some have more potent than others... Like my rose hair, unless I'm alergic to her I won't get sick from being bitten.

I'd get a pot belly pig.. they're very smart, and cute.

Heh....my wife knew a person that had a pot bellied pig...whenever you came into the house you'd have to run onto the couch because it would bite the ankles of anyone who came in that wasn't a family member.

well i have a leonberger and she is the best pet i have ever had!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We are researching geeting another dog, this time a howawart!
(we like strange dogs) these dogs are both big and furry but i think there is a beautifull type of dog for almost every situation and home. You just have to find the right breed of dog.
