Why do the advertisements for tanks always have for a picture an over crowded tank? One had a picture of a ten gallon with 6 Lionheads inside!
No wonder people overcrowd.

Marketing that wonderful propaganda that is designed simply to elicit a response, and nothing more.
MY local Petsmart ( not a bad store by all rights) has a mural (sp???) of oscars firemouths channel cats and neon tetras all swimming around in a heavily planted tank with no algea. the neons are almost as big as the oscars. Really cool mural Makes me want to set my tank up just like theirs. BTW where can I find 9" neons??

Do I need to worry about the neons eating the pleco's if I get both for my 5g?

Ok I'm now seeing some funny things in my mind.
The afore mentioned murel is across the wall above the tanks, and I never would have noticed it had an employee not pointed it out as ridiculous while we were discussing Oscars. That particular petsmart has at least one really good employee who takes her job seriously. and finds the murel to be dangerously amusing.
