What do letters and numbers stand for when they precede the T when refering to T8 bulbs, like F25T8 or F32T8

I don't know what the letters in front stand for, but the numbers are the lamp wattage supported by the ballast. For example, the T5 HO ballast I bought is labeled F54T5HO -- it's designed for 54w T5 HO bulbs (up to 4, but I'm not sure the quantity is indicated in the letter/number code).
