I would like (at sometime) to keep an anemone that hopefully a clown or two would host. From what i've read they seem to need MH lighting, so guessing i'm gonna have to wait till i upgrade the lighting. Question is: are there any anemonies that don't need strong light?

My current lighting is 2x 36w PC White/White & 2x 36w PC White/Blue on a 35G tank.

You colwns stand less of a chance of hosting in a condy than some of the other types of nems. There is not a guarintee that he would host in any but condys stand less of a chance than most.

Thanks for the info mate. Think i'm better waiting till i can afford MH. Don't want to put anything in the tank if it's not gonna happy, if you know what i mean.

So does 4x 36w equal 144w of light or do i only count the white part of the lights? Then it'd only be 108w of white light and 36w of blue light.

So would my lights be enough for a bubble tip? I don't want to get one and cause it to suffer when there is plenty of other stuff that will be quite happy with my available light.
