how would i even start setting up a real small tank? would i really need to put 5 pounds of live rock in to a 5 gallon tank? AND how do you get everything to stay on the rock?
:dance2:

use superglue or some type of epoxy to keep things onto the rock. you wouldnt NEED 5 pounds of lr,but it certainly wouldnt hurt. you also wouldnt be able to keep any fish, but a sexy shrimp or something would be cool
my friend was bored and he made an acrylic tank that held 2 cups of water. i believe it is still running actualy

were you at the meeting today?

anyways: i'll find the RC thread at some point, but he was practicing in shop class to make a large HOB refugium. so he made a box that held two cups of water and drilled the back and made a closed loop using a little aqualifter pump (for somethign so small, youd ont need a lot of flow). Then he just put it under some 18" NO strip lights (NO lighting is enough for 2 cups of water with some protopalies. although not much else haha). he even painted the back (i supose he gets bored easily)
