Does anyone know the life span of a 3 spotted gourami? I've had one for 7 1/2 years and she was full grown when I rescued her, so I was just curious about how long she might keep going. Thanks! Lisa

Thanks - I find it quite amazing myself. More than 7 of those years she's been "soul mate" to a blood parrot cichlid - of all fish. They are side by side most of the time.
thats very cool, the fish that i have had for the longest is my red male betta 'shrimpy'
its a corny name i know, but my little niece named him that because he would always chase around the shrimp

Wow - I've never known anyone to have a betta for so long -- mostly because anybody I knew who had one had them in horrible conditions!
my betta has long since passed, although i do have a new 2.5g setup i just set up 1 week ago, i could post some pics to see what you guys think, its still a work in progress
