Well, I for one know how much almost everyone here is passionate about their fish and hobby, and I also know how much great advice gets given on this forum. A lot of people take a lot of time to help people out with their issues and IMO, a lot of their hard work goes unnoticed... Untill now :)

I would like to start a thread where people can in particuly thank someone for their time and help. Now I know some pesamistics are going to cone here and say "just thank them in the thread, idiot" but the point is people can see here who is really contributing to the AC community in a positive manner :)

So first of all, I would like to thank Greech for all of his help with me starting out in saltwater, he has taken me through most of the steps and helped out with many issues :) thank you!

And Lab_Rat in particular for mentoring me in mafia when I first started and Just helping out and being a nice person :)

If I could tank everyone, this page would be very long so don't feel left out ;) just those two have stood out to me since I've joined.

So go on, share your experience/thank you for the people you would like to thank :)
 
Awesome idea.

Thanks DoctaQ for offering to help my with a DIY LED system.......not everyday does someone offer their wisdom and answer a bunch of newbie questions out of general kindness.

seriously though, I'd want to thank JB and pufferpunk for helping me sort out my puffer questions. I'd also like to give a huge thank you to Vicious Fish and Razz for helping me with my paludarium. Thanks to everyone else who's helped out too!
 
I'd like to thank BFM for helping me through most of my problems and being a very nice person all round

I would also like to thank fallenangel for helping me and giving me advice on putting angelfish in my tank 25g tank :)

and practically everyone on the forum for be so great and helpful and helping me through the newbie days :D
 
What a nice thread to start Hay!!!

Well, there are so many that have helped me and touched my heart along the way and in so many ways...fish and life related. So I will start with...

Coler and Paul-Thank you so much with all your help in setting up my Mbuna tank, I couldn't of done it without you guys!!!

More recent....
Greech-Thank you for all your time and help in my future SW tank...you were great and actually got me to understand things (believe me that's not a easy feat)!!

Bob- Thank you for being you...you have made me smile and laugh so many times without even knowing, at times I really needed it. You may be a old timer and a weee bit grumpy...but I wouldn't have you any other way;)

Andrew (Niko)- Thank you for being there for me at a time I was so lost in my life. Kinda crazy how a person that lives a whole ocean away, can touch your life in such a way. You helped me realize so many things, I can't thank you enough. Rather you like it or not......you have a heart :hearts:

Chill-I would like to thank you for helping me through a really rough time, you are a wonderful person!!
 
I like this idea Haydn!

I would definitely like to thank Mel_20_20 for helping when my RBS was troubled. learned a few good techniques and she was very nice :)

He's been a great help with my puffers and came up with great names for my new pair. He's an great person all around and an amazing friend!
 
I'd also like to send a big thank you out to Mel_20_20, for helping me with various sick treatments when I had no idea what was going on. She's always been so helpful & friendly.
