So I was tearing down my 10gallon hospital/qt tank tonight because I am selling the piece of decor I was keeping wet in it and when I was siphoning the water out I found out I had some really small blue ramshorn babies in there so I started to gently pick out the 30 or so I could find and I saw more eggs on the silicone so I scraped it off with my finger nail (dont need more in a tank I want to take down!) and a fish came out? Like a really really (1-2mm?) fish fry. Its mostly transparent but has a dark head. I havnt had any fish in this tank for at least 2 weeks and even then they wernt fully grown (emporer tetras 1 male 2 females)... The only other thing is the piece of decor I had in there came from my 75gallon as I was trying to get any albino BN plecos out that might be hiding in there (the 2 are still missing) but I didnt see anything like eggs in it and I swear this fish came out of the gel-like egg sac I scratched off. I really dont know.. so Im kinda curious as to what it is. Any idea on how to keep it alive? IDK how long its been in there but could it be eatin these tiny snails or other debris in the water? I dropped like 1/20th of an algae wafer in to collect the snails and in the hopes this thing will eat some of it. Ideas/suggestions please
Id like to grow it to find out what it is!
(its free swimming, mostly transparent, no like yolk sac or anything like that)
