a visit to the USA

Correct me if I'm wrong, but there's caves close by in Tennessee/Kentucky as well? And one of the largest aquariums, Ripley's Aquarium - it looks amazing, and is definitely on my list.

If you go in the fall, I think the colors are quite amazing. You could get some camping and fishing done too - I'm hoping to go myself this year.

Well there are SO many places you could visit in the US. What would you prefer? City? Mountains? Country?

Go to the Indy 500 in May or wait and do the US Grand Prix in Indianapolis Indiana. Lots of things to do and see in that town :)

Thank you all so much :thm:
there is a lot to mull over.:read:
the keys sound interesting,as do the falls.
you guys are awsome.
thanks so much.
:)

NYC! youd love it here if you are a type of person who likes to shop and eat. lol. times square is a great place to visit at night. talk a walk on the brooklyn bridge and you can see the city skyline. visit chinatown and little italy, there are many souvenir shops and looots of food. you can also take a look at ground zero, where the world trade center stood.

thanks BrkD,
sounds a nice place to visit.
Don't know if i could cope with "ground zero"
makes me want to cry now, just thinking about it,
there was a family on Extreme homes the other day
that had been effected by that, and i had tears
in my eyes the whole way through it.

....

My girl and I are heading to the Fl. Keys in June (6/4-6/8) for my vacation and I'm looking forward to it.
We're staying here. http://www.islanderfloridakeys.com/
Driving down should be a hoot. :/
We plan on doing some fishing, snorkeling, swimming, relaxing on the beach, getting drunk ;) and visiting the "Theater of the Sea" http://www.theaterofthesea.com/. Fun stuff. Hope the weather is nice.

Wow! Small world it is...

We will be arriving Islamorada on 6/9 Saturday, and staying for a week of fishing, boating, and just relaxing!

I love the Keys when it's not windy...
