AAWWwww ****e New Fish!!!!!

Eh a lot less than that. Try about that much for all three.

Hahaha... I didn't know that there was an actual grading scale for discus, so when I heard "A grade discus" I figured it meant they were worth a ton of money. :-P

It depends. These fish were next to a few Discus that had some awards which could sell for a few thousand each.

Holy cow... a few THOUSAND?!? I can only imagine the selective breeding and excellent care it would take to raise fish like that...

Hey RedScare.....Merry Christmas to you!!!! They are darn awesome!! And I am darn jealous!!!:drool: Good for you that you got great fish at a great price! Keep the pictures coming!

Please post a pic of a discus worth a few thousand dollars and the sap who buys them

HAHAaa not me. I am not into showing my fish. On a different note these three are the only ones I have worth showing and I'm not gonna do it.

On the idea of expensive fish. This one fish in question I believe is about 10 years old. The fish is about 10" and took first place at the ACA. So when the price is in the thousands of dollars range keep in mind their owners spent more than that in care and feeding, eg. 100% water changes daily and perfect diets. You can't just buy a 10 year old show quality award winning Discus. Professional breeders will pay premium prices for fish like this.

Discus are very hard to care for. I do at least 100% W/C weekly. Now I'm doing about 5 33% w/c a week.
