Buy a copper water test kit from your local fish shop...you may never use it again, but, you need to be sure that you start off with a copper free tank..

amazing what some sleep can do... Makes sence that it would be a test solution....just like everything else.....Side note I read the link that said it can cause the ph to raise from 7.5 to 9 I just moved and my ph from my tap is through the charts... my BW tank is at 8.4 was 8.0 my FW tank is at 7.6 was 7.3 would it be wise to test for copper or would I just wait wait for my RO unit to get here? I just did a water change so I wont be doing another until next week.
